In this series, we take a closer look at Jesus' posture toward sinful people. The religious establishment took immense pride in separating themselves from those they deemed "dirty" and "sinful". But Jesus moved toward people, he loved them, and he invited them to the table. Jesus was a friend of sinners. The question is: In a day and age when the Church functions more and more as a separatist group, living in isolation from the big bad world, will we come back to modeling and emulating Jesus' example of moving TOWARD others who do not know Jesus as Savior?
