"My name is Faith McGilvray, and I graduated in 2022 from Texas A&M with a degree in bilingual education. I currently live in Mexico City and work for Via, a missions mobilization organization. Our vision is to mobilize the Mexican church to send missionaries to the unreached and to see each believer fully engaged in their God-given role in the Great Commission. My job includes walking alongside leaders and women as they discover God’s mission and develop in their strategic role. I also have the privilege of walking alongside churches as they gain a vision for God’s heart for all nations and develop structures in their church to send their own missionaries and to help all believers get involved. My day to day life includes leading missions focused Bible studies, discipling girls one-on-one in a World Christian lifestyle, planning events and meeting with leaders.

Currently, Mexico has over 12 million evangelical Christians but sends only 1 out of every 33,000 believers as missionaries, ranking 55 out of 60 in regards to missions sending compared to other countries with over a million believers. But, God has greatly blessed Mexico! Mexicans have a powerful passport and cultural and physical characteristics that give them advantages when adapting to places where unreached people live. The Mexican church has the potential to be a great missions force, and God is doing something big here! I am so grateful for your support and that we get to link arms with our Mexican brothers and sisters and be a part of what God is doing to reach all nations with His good news!"
